Jasmine's Banana Bread. Banana bread meets cake, and it's a love story! For this recipe, I felt inspired to work with caraway seeds after an afternoon with my Polish friend, an unexpected and beautifully fragrant flavour. Kids love this cake (as evidenced by my toddler godson!) and it's both timeless and versatile (and Mum loves it, too).

Ingredients of Jasmine's Banana Bread

  1. You need of margarine or butter.
  2. You need of sugar.
  3. You need of eggs.
  4. Prepare of crushed bananas.
  5. It's of flour.
  6. Prepare of baking soda.
  7. You need of chopped nuts (optional).

In a large bowl, mash the banana with the avocado oil — I like to use a whisk and smash it down. In another bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients, then empty into the banana peanut mixture and mix until well combined.

  1. preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. crush bananas and whip until very light.
  3. cream butter and sugar.
  4. add eggs.
  5. add flour.
  6. add soda and nuts.
  7. turn into well greased bread pan.
  8. bake for one hour or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
